5. Artist and Artwork Policies
a. Representation of Artwork
Artists who collaborate with Yuan Arts Gallery affirm that they are the sole creators of the submitted artwork or have full legal authority to display and sell it.
The gallery reserves the right to curate, select, and organize the display of artworks to ensure alignment with our artistic mission and audience preferences.
b. Sales and Commissions
Sales of artwork through the gallery are subject to commission agreements, outlined in contracts with individual artists.
The gallery may process payments on behalf of artists and will remit proceeds (minus agreed-upon commissions) within a specified period.
c. Reproduction and Promotion
By displaying their work with Yuan Arts Gallery, artists grant the gallery a limited license to photograph, reproduce, and promote their artwork in marketing materials, social media, and publications, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
d. Copyright
The copyright for all displayed artworks remains with the artist, unless a separate agreement is made. Buyers of artworks receive ownership of the physical piece but not the underlying copyright or reproduction rights, unless explicitly stated.
6. Event and Program Participation
a. Registration and Payment
Participants must register for events, workshops, or tours in advance, where applicable. Registration is complete only upon receipt of payment, if required.
Fees and availability are subject to change, and spaces are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
b. Cancellations
By Participants: Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event may qualify for a full refund. Refunds for late cancellations are at the discretion of the gallery.
By the Gallery: In the rare case that an event is canceled by Yuan Arts Gallery, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer their registration to another event.
c. Conduct During Events
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward staff, artists, and fellow attendees. Yuan Arts Gallery reserves the right to remove individuals whose behavior is disruptive, harmful, or in violation of these Terms.
7. Purchases and Transactions
a. Pricing and Availability
Prices for artworks, tickets, or other items are clearly displayed. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without notice.
All sales are subject to availability.
b. Payment Methods
We accept payment via credit card, debit card, bank transfer, or other approved methods. Payments are processed securely, and Yuan Arts Gallery does not store sensitive payment information.
c. Refund Policy
Artwork sales are final unless otherwise specified. Refunds are only issued in cases of damage during transit or errors in representation.
Refunds for services, such as event tickets, are subject to our cancellation policy outlined in Section 6.
